Mr. Eric Alexandre Guimond joined the Mercier Leduc team to further his career as a litigation lawyer, after several years acting as an investigator with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, most notably in the National Security Criminal Investigations Program and the Professional Liability Sector.
In 2020, he completed his articling at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in The Hague, Netherlands. He holds a law degree with honors distinction from the University of Ottawa and is currently a candidate for the University of Montreal’s Information Technology Law Master’s Degree.
Mr. Guimond believes that the rapidly expanding field of technology should be utilized to maintain comprehensive and effective legal representation without impeding the success of his clients’ endeavours. He negotiates and pleads for his clients with rigor and passion. He will not hesitate to use his investigative skills to advise his clients judiciously. He will consistently utilize all resources at his disposal in order to bring his clients’ projects to fruition.
