Professional Experience

Me Morrone began his practice in 2004 in the fields of construction and real estate law by working in a medium-sized firm in Montreal. During this period, he participated in several conferences bringing together entrepreneurs and construction professionals. He is also the author of several legal articles dealing with construction law.

In 2007, he founded his own firm and succeeded in building a loyal clientele who appreciates the quality of his work. He provided training to its clients’ employees on various subjects, particularly in terms of preliminary contracts, warranty plans and health and safety issues on construction sites.

Between 2008 and 2019, he acted as a lecturer at the École de Technologie Supérieure of the University of Quebec in Montreal. During this period, Me Morrone dedicated more than 125 hours annually to teaching the legal component of the courses CTN600 Gestions des contrats de construction, GCI320 Lois, codes et normes en construction et GCI410 Entreprises de construction et contrats to students enrolled in both the Baccalaureate and Certificate of Génie de la Construction at l’É.T.S.

In the fall 2010 and winter 2011 semesters, three other courses were entrusted to Me Morrone by l’É.T.S. TCH020, GCI311 both having the title Santé, sécurité et gestion de personnel en construction and a third course to be given to the students of the Masters degree of Génie de la Construction at l’É.T.S.

Since March 2012, Me Morrone has been acting as a professor at the École du Barreau du Québec. He teaches days 41 to 43 of professional training for future lawyers in priorities and hypothecs. He is also a member of the CEPE, writes and corrects the School’s exams for the aspects of priorities and hypothecs. In addition, in 2021, the École du Barreau du Québec entrusted him with updating, as author of Titre IV – Les priorités et les hypothèques of Volume 7 – Contrats, sûretés, publicités des droits et droit international privé of the Collection de droit;

Since September 2012, Me Morrone has been a member of the board of directors of the Association des professionels de la construction et de l’habitation du Québec (APCHQ) as an advisor to the presidency and since 2021, as an associate administrator for the Montreal-Metropolitan region.

Me Morrone also sat on the board of directors of the Association des professionels de la construction et de l’habitation du Québec (APCHQ) (Provincial) as a co-opted administrator between 2008 and 2021.

In 2022, Me Morrone joined forces with ML Avocats SENCRL, allowing his clients to benefit from additional services in business and disciplinary law.
